                                          CCS-CDM PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

                                          Top Arc
Using its experience in project development, financing and regulation,
Geogreen can help identify and structure potential CCS-CDM projects. This consulting service will provide an outlook of the project, identify key issues for development, and the construction of an associated methodology as should be
                                          submitted to the UNFCCC.

                                          Bottom Arc

Specifically, Geogreen will help orient CDM clients with expertise and recommendations on the following issues:
                                          CCS
                                          1) Elaborating the projects planning and the Project Design Document (CDM-PDD).
                                          2) Understanding existing regulatory frameworks: e.g. which regulations are applicable, what are the gaps with respect to specific CCS project requirements, and which entities have jurisdiction with regards to various regulations/policies (e.g. governmental authorities vs. UNFCCC).
                                          3) Establishing the future perimeter of the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), which is a key parameter for evaluating the project’s environment performance and is a important aspect for the CCS-CDM methodology’s wording.
                                          4) Assessing the project’s economics with sensitivity analyses for technical uncertainties.

Based on this initial screening of potential issues, Geogreen provides support on the project further development based on its engineering service: transport and storage engineering, project development strategy, CDM methodology definition and support.

Geogreen can also provide the project developer support in discussions with local authorities regarding the  adaptation for local regulation to the needs of a CCS project.
