Gilles Munier
Chief Executive Officer

Gilles Munier has developed his carrier in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, after being graduate of National School of Mines of Paris. After 18 years of international experience mainly in the field of upstream geosciences and management, he joined the underground gas storage industry, and is now managing different porous media projects for Géostock, and all CO2 related activities. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Geogreen.


Pierre Le Thiez
Executive Vice President


Dr. Pierre le Thiez has developed his career as a researcher at IFP. In 2000, he launched and mlanaged R&D projects on CO2 capture, transport and geological storage (CASTOR project, …). He is the delegate for France in the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum. Pierre Le Thiez is Executive Vice President of Geogreen.

Carlos Gomez Montalvo graduated in Engineering in 1984 from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France and started his career as a Civil Engineer before going into marketing as an area manager for South East Asia for a firm in power plants and equipment. He has been in charge of business development for Europe and the Americas in the field of underground gas storage for Géostock since 1994 and is now in charge of business development for Geogreen.

Responsible for Geogreen business development in America and Asia, he has an extensive knowledge of the environmental and political energy contexts. In his Master in International Environmental Management (University of Pennsylvania, Mines ParisTech, Tsinghua), he made a market study of CCS deployment in the US, France, and China. He joined Geogreen in January 2010.
