Pittsburgh (May 2-5, 2011) - Yann Le Gallo, Geogreen's Operations Manager, and Cameraon McQuale, in charge of Geogreen's business development in North America, traveled to Pennsylvania to attend the DOE-NETL's 10th Annual Conference on Carbon Capture & Sequestration. There Le Gallo gave two presentations on studies performed by Geogreen. One presentation was on Geogreen's work to build a GIS planning tool for KAPSARC to assist their efforts to realize CCS deployment in Saudi Arabia. The second presentation revealed the results for a study performed by Geogreen for the IEA-GHG and the GCCSI in order to determine the status of global CO2 storage options, regional/national charaterization efforts, and to highlight the gaps that exist in terms of realizing a broad deployment of CCS by 2050.
The conference was held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh and was attended by over 700 people involved in various aspects of the CCS chain and hailing from across the globe.
