Geogreen presents the key outcomes of CO2 Transport projects such as COCATE and VASCO and Risk Assessment such as MANAUS to the Brazilian Congress on CO2
Rio de Janeiro (April 8-10, 2013): Jonathan Royer-Adnot presented the main results from several Geogreen projects on Transport (COCATE and VASCO) and Risk (MANAUS) to the 2nd Brazilian Congress on CO2 in the oil, gas and biofuels industries, organized in Rio by Brazilian Petroleum Institute .
The second edition of the Brazilian Congress on CO2 in the Oil, Gas and Biofuels industry aims at significantly contributing to the scientific and technological development of the Country, seeking the mass participation of the academic community and industry involved with R&D actions on CO2. This year topic is the Oil Industry, and there will be a great attendance from the players of this sector in the Congress. The topics to be addressed include research on proper material to carry CO2, chemical transformation process of the gas in raw material that can be used to manufacture products, geological storage of CO2 and its impacts on the local micro biota.
