Paris (September 30, 2009) - Gilles Munier discussed Geogreen's vision for CCS development in an Interview for CleanTech Republic: "'Regarding CO2 storage, industrial leaders and stakeholder organizations surpassed a phase of mere curiosity long ago. Now they are at the experimentation stage in an activity that could be very strategic in the future’ says Gilles Munier."
CleanTech Republic continued by pointing out "this development could not come at a better time [for Geogreen], given that the mission of the French start-up is to advise and support key actors in their implementation of CO2 storage solutions. Their primary customers are energy and environmental service experts (Total, Saudi ARAMCO, Veolia...) as well as large industrial players, which are all in search of a sustainable development strategy. For these clients, Geogreen brings its much needed expertise in geological site screening, regulatory analysis, technology options screening, risk assessment, and investment recommendations. ‘Ultimately, we have the will to go all the way to site operation, but for now most of our contracts involve project development, with most direct applications being feasibility studies. We are only getting started.'"
